Our Environmental Impact
Although we would have loved to be able to meet you all in person at Pack Forest this fall, we look forward to seeing you online at this year's first virtual Graduate Climate Conference! As a reminder of the environmental impacts of conference travel, we have estimated the CO2-equivalent emissions saved by holding our conference online this year.
Using attendees' home locations, we computed the emissions for each of our attendees associated with traveling to Seattle and then to Pack Forest. By our estimates, we are avoiding 79274.56 kg of CO2e by holding this conference virtually!

The conference will be organized over a dedicated Discord server where we will post links to sessions for oral presentations, keynotes, and workshops on Zoom. Links to the Discord, Zoom sessions, Workshops, and social events will be included in emails to participants and posted on the Discord. Please see the Abstracts & Schedule page to find the GCC schedule.
Below, please find information regarding the structure of the oral and poster sessions, along with information to download Zoom and Discord. If you experience difficulties uploading your oral presentation or e-poster, please contact Andrew Tomes at [email protected] for assistance.
